  3 October 2007- The EU Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) became law in the UK on the 1st July 2007.

  10 August 2007- Bardic by Honeywell warn that a radical new approach to fire safety in non-residential buildings will be necessary when the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order becomes effective in the autumn.
